It was in 1955 that Disneyland in California opened its gates. Did you know that it is the only theme park to be designed, built, and operated by Walt Disney himself?

I have never been to the flagship park so to speak, but I would love to travel to California one day to see it, and experience the Disney magic.

I've been three times. Twice when we lived in San Diego. I was in 5 or 6. Don't really remember.

I do remember going when I was in fourth grade. It was magic. I was at just the right age that even though I was aware of the illusion, I didn't have that teenage I'm-too-cool thing going.
